Like Mistress Candy herself, the dungeon evolved over time.
It began quite simply. Candy started collecting the furniture, equipment and accessories that suited the experiences she wanted to create — a beautiful leather settee, specialised chairs, restraints, an ever-growing collection of toys and implements, and eventually a dedicated toolbox containing some of her favourite tools of the trade.
At first, everything was set up in a small bedroom in her home.
It worked — but it wasn’t Mistress Candy.
Candy soon realised that the environment was an important part of the experience. She wanted somewhere spacious, sensual and atmospheric; somewhere that felt completely removed from everyday life the moment you walked through the door.
So she transformed her large lounge into her dungeon.
And Studio Candy truly came alive.
It became a place for fantasy, exploration and creativity, as well as one of Candy’s favourite settings for creating content. More importantly, she discovered how much the right environment could help someone relax, leave the outside world behind and allow themselves to become immersed in an experience.
Over the years, Mistress Candy has explored an extensive range of BDSM and fetish interests, including restraint, discipline, CBT, sounding, humiliation, chastity, impact play, sensual touch and watersports.
But the equipment has never been the most important part.
For Mistress Candy, a memorable session begins with the person standing in front of her. What excites you? What have you fantasised about? What are you curious about? What are your boundaries — and what sort of experience will allow you to truly let go?
That understanding is what allows Candy to create something individual rather than simply work through a list of activities.
Although the original Studio Candy dungeon is now part of her history, the story isn’t finished.
With Mistress Candy beginning her new chapter on the Gold Coast, plans for the next incarnation of her private dungeon are already taking shape.
And knowing Candy, it won’t simply be a room.
It will be an experience.
